My album lineup that will forever be on repeat!

Harry Styles – HS1

Harry Styles' debut solo album dropped in 2017 and instantly became a core memory album for me. This really broadcasted him/his style of music outside of 1D and it feels more personal than his other albums released. I can attatch my personal expierences to it while Harry is also getting extremely personal aswell.

Top 5 Tracks:

  1. Only Angel
  2. Sign of the Times
  3. Carolina
  4. Two Ghosts
  5. Kiwi

If I Could Recommend One Song:

“From the Dining Table” — It’s quiet and devastating in the most beautiful way. You feel the ache in his voice, like he’s whispering confessions into the void. If you’ve ever missed someone who doesn’t miss you back — this will hit.

Folklore

Folklore dropped in 2020 during peak quarantine and felt like an escape for me. This was a shift in her music which a lot of people either loved or hated. For me, this is what got me into listening to Taylor Swfit and this album will forever have a special place in my heart. It tells a story with characters and it was like a puzzle of trying to discover the story Taylor told within these songs becuase again the shift went from making the album about her life story, she made it in differen points of view in someone else's life.

  3. Betty
  4. Invisible String
  5. The Last Great American Dynasty

If I Could Recommend One Song:

“This Is Me Trying” — It’s vulnerable, soft, and painfully relatable. It’s not dramatic, just honest. It puts into words what it feels like to keep falling short but still show up. It’s a song for anyone holding it together quietly.

The Stranger

Released in 1977, The Stranger is a timeless classic that still hits today. Billy Joel’s storytelling is unmatched from New York city scenes to bittersweet life lessons. This album made me slow down, reflect, and appreciate older music that still feels personal. I feel like a lot of people resonate with Vienna, but the entire album is full of lyrics that really make you sit and think about the approach you take toward life.

Slow down, you're doing fine. You can't be everything you want to be before your time.”

Top 5 Tracks:

  1. Vienna
  2. She's Always a Woman
  3. Movin Out (Anthony's Song)
  4. Only the Good Die Young
  5. The Stranger

If I Could Recommend One Song:

“Vienna/She's Always a woman” — Vienna is a classic. If you know Billy Joel, you know Vienna. This song feels like a warm, tough love pep talk from someone older and wiser. It reminds you to slow down and live fully. If you’re ever feeling lost, this one will put your heart back in place. As for She's Always a Woman, it’s gentle but sharp. The lyrics are describing someone soft and strong in a way that’s both admiring and raw. It makes you reflect on the women in your life, or yourself, in a way that feels both poetic and powerful

SOS

SOS is emotional whiplash in the best way. It’s vulnerable, bold, angry, sad, confident and somehow all of that at once. That may seem overwhelming, but it relaly all works together. SZA poured her heart out, whether it was relationship validation or self validation, she gave us raw feelings thousands can relate to, whether your're in a relationship, never been in one, or just got out of a relationship, SOS is an album about how a ton of people view themselves

Top 5 Tracks:

  1. F2F
  2. Special
  3. Ghost in the Machine
  4. I Hate U
  5. Nobody Gets Me

If I Could Recommend One Song:

“Special”. This one feels like being too honest while overthinking at 2AM and wishing you hadn’t said anything. It's fragile and sounds like self-worth slipping through your fingers. It’s the kind of song you don’t just hear, but its a song you genuinely feel.

FOUR

FOUR is peak 1D in my opinion. This album really shows the bands maturity from teenagers to adults. You could capture their emotions and vulnerability more both lyrically and vocally. As someone who was a One Direction fan from the start, this album will always be nostalgic, uplifting, and incredibly underrated. Forever a comfort listen.

Top 5 Tracks:

  1. Fireproof
  2. Clouds
  3. No Control
  4. Where Do Broken Hearts Go
  5. Night Changes

If I Could Recommend One Song:

“Fireproof” — It’s soft, catchy, and somehow comforting. The lyrics are simple, but they linger. It’s the kind of song that makes you feel like everything’s gonna be okay, kind of like a hug in audio form.
